At the same time, the lid needs to be rotated before you can pour out the coffee, other models will require you to just push a button prior to pouring out the coffee. The carafe needs to be pre-heated, which may not be very helpful if you’re running late for work. Lastly, the Zojirushi EC-BD15 has no built in grinder, which may be an inconvenience for some. Nonetheless, others would prefer to buy ground beans already so that’s not much of a problem in that case. It may also turn out to be an added advantage since that equates to easier clean up.
